Therapy for interpersonal and relationship concerns

Most people notice their relational patterns by repetition. The same argument in a new relationship. The same resentment at a third workplace. The same instinct to absorb someone else’s problem before considering your own position.

This is individual therapy focused on your side of those patterns — which is, practically speaking, the side you can change. Understanding where a pattern was learned matters, but only insofar as it makes a different response available the next time.

Clinical approach

Attachment-informed, with concrete skills

An attachment-informed lens explains why certain interactions land as threat rather than friction, and why your most automatic responses were once adaptive. That framing removes a lot of self-blame without turning into an excuse.

Paired with it are concrete communication skills: naming a position clearly, holding a boundary without a case for it, tolerating another person’s disappointment. These get rehearsed in session, because they are much harder to execute live than to understand in principle.

What the work tends to cover

  • Recurring conflict cycles and communication repair
  • Codependency and over-functioning for others
  • Boundary setting with family and at work
  • Difficult workplace and leadership relationships
  • Complex or estranged family systems
  • Attachment patterns in long-term partnerships
